For farmers, ranchers and cooperatives
Restaurants, butcheries, grocers and retailers search more.co.ke by county and by category. A free storefront puts your farm, your animals or your crop and your phone number in front of them, with no broker in between.
Listing is free, and no commission is taken on your sale.

About a thousand businesses on MORE buy food. Six farms sell it.

Restaurants and food businesses listed on MORE
Retail and shopping businesses, including grocers
That is the whole reason to be listed. A broker who turns up at the gate is often the only buyer who knows there is stock ready, and that is their entire advantage. It is not better knowledge of the market, only the fact that nobody else has heard of your farm. Being listed does not oblige you to sell to anyone, and it does not stop you selling at the gate. It stops you being invisible to everybody except the person standing in front of you.
Counts of businesses listed in those categories on more.co.ke, read in October 2026. Being listed is not a guarantee that any particular business will buy from you.
Four places on MORE where a farm belongs

Cattle, goats, sheep and camels, poultry, rabbits and fish stock. Eleven sub-types, so a buyer looking for dairy heifers is not wading through everything else.

Maize, beans and other grain, potatoes and vegetables, fruit, tea and coffee. Listed under agricultural products, where grocers and retailers browse.

Implements, pumps, feed and inputs, and machinery for sale or hire. Useful if you sell or hire out kit alongside what you farm.

Farmland for sale or lease, listed where buyers already look for property rather than buried in classifieds.

Worked examples, to show how a listing reads. The farms, counties and prices are made up for illustration and are not a price guide. You set your own price and change it whenever you like.
Your name, your county, your produce, and a button that rings your phone

Your page is not a classified ad. It carries your farm name and logo, a cover photograph, your county and your opening hours, your produce laid out with prices, and the buttons a buyer uses to call or message you.
Last-mile delivery to the buyer, on terms you set yourself

An order does not stop at your gate. MORE runs the last mile to the buyer, and you decide what it costs and how far it goes.
You set all of it once, under Products then Delivery Settings, and it applies to everything in your catalogue. Changes take effect on the next order.
Which is the opportunity, so we will not pretend otherwise
There are only a handful of farms listed on MORE today. We are not going to dress that up with a community you would then go looking for and fail to find.
What it means in practice is simple. When a hotel in your county searches for goats or for maize right now, there is almost nobody there to find. The farms that list first are the ones those buyers will see, and they will not be competing with two hundred others on the same page. That advantage lasts exactly as long as the category stays thin.
What MORE is
A business directory and marketplace for Kenya. Buyers browse by category and county, land on your page, and contact you. Price, payment and collection are agreed between the two of you, exactly as they would be at the gate.

A phone number is enough to begin

Your name, phone number and a password. You confirm the number with a code sent by SMS.

Business name, county, category and contact details, with a logo and a cover photo. If you farm in more than one place, each site can be added as a branch.

We check the details before the page goes public. You can carry on filling it in while the review runs.

Each listing takes a photo, a price and a quantity. Price a bull per head, milk per litre, maize per bag, tomatoes per crate. From then on buyers find you directly.
The seller manual walks through every screen with pictures, if you would rather read it through first.
Two shorter ways to say so, without building a full listing
A short public post for what is ready now: what it is, how much, where, and your number. Forty bags of potatoes in Nyandarua, thirty broilers on Friday. It takes a minute and sits on the quick posts feed.
A dated note pinned to your own storefront, with photos if you want them. Useful for a calving season, a grading change, or telling regular buyers when you will next have stock.
Listing is free; visibility is the paid part
The storefront, your listings, the enquiry form, the inbox and orders. No charge to be on the platform, and no commission taken on a sale you arrange with a buyer.
Sponsored placement in search, in your category and on the homepage, hero banners, and managed advertising. Worth it when you have volume to move and want to be seen first. The plans and pricing page lists what each one includes.
So you know before you plan around it
There is no escrow. Payment is between you and the buyer, on whatever terms you agree. Treat a new buyer the way you would treat one at the gate.
Delivery is not refrigerated, so a load that has to stay chilled is still your arrangement to make. Price perishables for the hours they will actually be in transit.
There is no price index and no guarantee. You put the price on your own listing and change it whenever you like. What the market pays is still the market's business.
Start selling
It takes a phone number to begin, and the storefront costs nothing to keep.
